Some more distances
....Nearest...
Frankie & Benny's is 212 miles (Aberdeen)
Chiquitos is 210 miles (Aberdeen)
Dominos Pizza is 105 miles (Inverness)
Brewers Fayre is 106 miles (Inverness)
Nandos is 270 miles (Glasgow)
Yeah so I like my food, and I'm getting the feeling living in Wick isn't necessarily going to have the increased living costs I was expecting!

Hey ..... according to Louise there is a chip shop in Wick .... and an AIRPORT!!!! Maybe you'll have to eat more of Andrews secret recipe soup!!! (;o)). You'll have to persuade Domino's or Brewers Fayre to make 'special' special deliveries.!!! (:-))
Well, yeah there are chippies and stuff, although the one Louise was talking about was in Aviemore/Inverness I think- it's a long story, and I'll blog about my first ever visit to Wick in 1993 another time!
And as for the airport, I think you can fly to Aberdeen and Edinburgh, but it's really expensive- now that WOULD increase the cost of living, to fly to Aberdeen just to go to Frankie and Benny's!!

I never said there was a chip shop. The chip shop was somewhere with a posh garage!!
Tracy you need to get a Pilots Licence and then you can have your own wee trips without too much expense ;-)
Though why you wish to eat in Brewers Fayre is beyond me. (Can't find my sick icon) But I'm sure there is a nice wee italian or something. I'm off to check out upmystreet for you.

Hey Upmystreet has a french restaurant and a chinese. Looks like Thurso may be your best bet however for eating out.
