Funerals!!

Ok, so not really sure why I'm restarting this blogging thing by talking about death, but there you go!

Yesterday 2 people died in our town (well 2 that I know of), and we're doing both the funerals at The Salvation Army in the next couple of weeks. Why is that of note? Well, Cathie was 95, had lived a good full life, saw a lot of the UK, did a variety of jobs and found the Lord, I believe, in The Salvation Army, here in Wick. But, Dale was 9. He had epilepsy, which was recently diagnosed, and hadn't been treated yet. He had been attending our kids choir that we started 3 weeks ago, and, I believe, was beginning to learn about the Lord there.

There are people grieving in our community, and they've asked The Salvation Army to be with them in this time. What a privilege.

Oh, and please pray for Andrew. We're doing Cathie's funeral between us, but he'll have most of the responsibility for Dale's.

Hi Tracy
Glad I checked again .... I have been checking every day .... I almost thought you'd called it a day with blogging.
You are always in our thoughts and prayers and will be especially so next week with the 2 funerals .... never an easy time.
Hope you had a good week-end with Lucy & David.

luv
Petros

Thanks Pete, sorry for the deleted comment above, but I posted it under Andrew's name first! We had a good weekend, and Andrew's on the way to/from Inverness taking them back to the airport.
